Find Children’s Dance Shoes Easily for Upcoming Performances
Filed under: Uncategorized

It’s easy to find children’s dance shoes for their upcoming performances…

Odds are, your little dancer  is getting ready for her summer dance performances. You may be looking for some new dance shoes to go along with that performance! It is easy to wear out dance shoes during the season of practice classes and such. They get scuffed up and worn out – especially ballet and pointe shoes.

Children’s dance shoes can be hard to find, but the Internet makes it a little easier. As long as you know your child’s size, you can find any brand and style you need – and fast. We have always relied on the wonderful sales for dance shoes on the internet when we started having trouble finding good dance stores nearby our house. It wasn’t worth the trouble to go 15 miles or so to find children’s dance shoes.

We have to purchase them so much in our family that its just easier to find them online. Out of all the children’s dance shoes, I would suggest for ballet is Bloch’s Prolite 2 Hybrid Split Sole for girls. They won’t stretch out of shape and they really show off a great arch.

I’d be interested to know if you have any ballet shoe preferences.

Children’s Dance Shoes: Finding the Right Fit

No matter what type of dance your child is in, it is a fact that children’s dance shoes can be hard to find. It is essential to find the right brand that also fits well as many different children’s dance shoes brands fit differently.

Doing your research on brands is the best way to go. Some run small and some big, just as any shoe really. But with dancing shoes (especially ballet) you need them to be pretty snug as they do tend to stretch out. And the worst thing for your child’s dancing would be that their shoes would be falling off or lose. It just makes them more conscious of their feet rather than their performance.

If you are looking for ballet shoes, you need to know if your child prefers the split sole or the full leather sole; basically what feels more comfortable to them. You can also check with your child’s dance teacher for their recommendation if you’re not sure.

I believe one of the best children’s dance shoes brands across all disciplines is Capezio. Everytime I look for a dance shoe, Capezio is the brand I end up going with.

Whichever you decide, keep in mind not to sacrifice the proper fit for price. Odds are, your child will get lots of wear out of your purchase!

I know my mom did!
